Nicole Fournier is a postgraduate student of East Asian Medicine (acupuncture, herbal medicine, etc.). After spending several years working in the corporate world, she found herself feeling unfulfilled and wanting more out of her daily life. She’s always been excited to make one on one connections with people on a deep level. From a young age, she avidly participated in community service offerings with the goal of helping others. She found the perfect union of building connection and providing service through East Asian Medicine.

Nicole’s own path to greater health began with meditation. She developed a strong sitting practice which would encourage her to discover other practices such as yoga, reiki, and sound healing. After committing to these practices for some time, Nicole was ready for the next frontier in mind body work. She was originally persuaded to try holistic medicine for her own stress management. The more attention she gave to the principles of this medicine, the more she benefitted, and was eventually convinced it was an important enough cause to devote her life to. Nicole has a passion for helping others take charge of their health and she appreciates the personalized approach offered by East Asian Medicine.

Outside of the classroom and clinic, you can find Nicole meditating, traveling, gardening, cooking, or spending time with loved ones. She’s eager to assist as many people as possible with their unique health challenges and will be a strong advocate for all.

My name is Crystal Reeder and I am a Registered Nurse and student Acupuncture Physician at Dragon Rises College of Oriental Medicine.

Having been a nurse for the past 25 years, I can confidently say that I have a passion for helping others on their health journey to healing. I have worked in various areas of nursing including Critical Care and Emergency Medicine.

I have always been interested in herbal remedies and alternative forms of health and healing. After a shoulder injury forced me to leave bedside, I was introduced to acupuncture. It was an amazing experience and I found a new passion. Feeling burnt out and disenchanted with the ways of Western medicine; I decided to pursue acupuncture!

I am very excited to continue my education to be able to provide more holistic approach to health and healing. Looking forward to meeting you in the clinic!
